He portrays landscapes marked by history, linked to conflict and death. It approaches the landscape from contemplation and consciousness, interpreting the traces of the place and our memory. It is organized in three blocks -Spain, Europe and Overseas- and reflects on the historical and geographical construction of nations over time.
Spain-Germany, 1969/1970
María Bleda (Spain, 1969) and José María Rosa (Albacete, 1970) form the artistic duo Bleda y Rosa. Their work explores the relationship between image, place and memory. Through the representation of the territory, they have developed their own language that combines the visual and the textual. Their work has received numerous awards such as the National Photography Award in 2008, and is part of important collections such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid or the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea in Santiago de Compostela, among others.
